In 2013, Caesars began an initiative to both celebrate its myriad million dollar winners, and to create many more. That initiative, the aptly titled Millionaire Maker, has evolved to now include Caesars’ online players, ten of which will earn their chance to claim a $1 million prize next March.
Three sites, ten qualifiers
Three Caesars sites will be participating in the promotion, with the lion’s share of the tickets to be awarded to Caesars Casino players.
Caesars Casino is by far the most popular of the trio, which likely accounts for why its players are receiving most of the love.
As far as the winners, they will be treated to a three night stay at Harrah’s AC, a $150 dining credit, and of course, entry into the live Millionaire Maker Slot Tournament, slated to take place at Harrah’s AC from March 20 – 22, 2018.
The road to riches
Each participating NJ online gambling site is offering its own unique path of entry into the tournament.
In addition to handing out the most seats, Caesars Casino will host the longest promotional period, with players able to earn entries between October 1 – 21.
Subsequent entries will require play, with players earning one drawing entry per 25 Online Tier Credits earned.
On Caesars, Tier Credits are earned at a rate of 1 per $10 wagered on online slots, or 1 per $100 wagered on table games and video poker. Thus, accruing one, or even a few, entries per day is hardly a Herculean task. Players are especially incentivized to play on Mondays, as they’ll rack up double entries each week of the promotional period.
Scattered in the mix are two additional sub-promotional opportunities, by which players can earn even more entries, and other goodies on top:
- Slot Race: Runs on October 11. Players will earn leaderboard points based on the amount of their slot and video poker spend, with the top 20 point earners taking home prizes ranging from $25 to $500 in bonus cash. In addition, first place will receive 50 Millionaire Maker drawing entries, second place 25, and third place 10. The opt in code for this promo is MILLIONTR.
- Earning Blitz: From October 17 through October 21, players that earn at least 500 Online Tier Credits will receive an additional 50 drawing entries.
On October 28, all drawing entries will be put into action, as Caesars pulls the names of the eight grand prize winners. Runner-ups won’t be left out in the cold, however, as there are 555 other prizes to be won:
- 5 winners will receive a two night stay in Atlantic City, and a $100 dining credit
- 50 winners will see $50 in online bonus play added to their accounts.
- 500 winners will win a $25 online bonus
Whereas on Caesars, playing volume only helps to increase a player’s chances, on Harrah’s Casino it’s the sole determinant as to who gets the Millionaire Maker spot.
The site will be hosting two slot races, the first on October 5 (promo code MMSLOT), and the second on October 12 (MMSLOT2). On these days, players will earn one point per dollar spend on slots and video poker, with the highest earner across both races winning the Millionaire Maker ticket.
In addition, the player atop of the leaderboard of each individual session will win $250 in bonus play, while anyone who earns 500 points during a race will win $20.
Poker players can also get in on the action, via WSOP NJ.
For every MTT played between October 1 – 15, they will acquire one entry. There are a few exceptions to this rule, as players that enter weekend majors with a buy-in of least $50 will be rewarded with five entries.
Players that gamble at the Rio Casino, accessed from the WSOP client, can also earn entries — at a rate of one entry for every 25 APPs earned. The promo code for this offer is MM2017. APPs are earned at a rate of 1 per $16 on casino games, so players will have to wager $400 per entry.
What site offers casual players the best chances to win?
Caesars, and it’s not really that close. Not only is Caesars the only site that allows players to earn entries without real-money play, but it’s also the easiest site to pick up additional entries.
On Caesars, players will accrue between 1 – 2 entries per $25 wagered on slots, versus $400 wagered on WSOP. And on Harrah’s only the biggest whale will earn an entry.
Contrarily, players will have eight chances to win on Caesars. Granted the site is Caesars Interactive Entertainment‘s most popular, but we hardly think that volume is eight times higher on Caesars Casino than it is on WSOP NJ and Harrah’s Casino.
All of this is not to say that it will easy for a casual player to win an entry, as players who put in mass volume are going to have far more chances to win.
But there’s a better shot at getting lucky at Caesars.
